There are 2 extensive powerpoints, one for each sub-unit, with plenty of activities both from the textbook and created by me. These powerpoints have been created using zoom 1 as guidance, but like I said there’s a lot more than the textbook provides. Other stuff included in this bundle: a starter activity, a kagan-style cooperative speaking activity, 2 worksheets, a reading activity and a piece of homework. A powerpoint I created to help my year 8 and year 9 groups practise verb tenses before the summer exams. Year 8 (second year): present, preterite and near future year 9 (third year): present, preterite, near and simple future. this resource does not include verb endings, but tables for students to fill in and practise verb conjugations in their 6 forms (there are some common irregulars). Answers included for them to work independently and check their own answers. Ppt includes a thinking quilts activity where students will be identifying these tenses in use, as well as typical time markers to go with each tense.

A 40-slide ppt based on the Mira 3 textbook (rojo), “El mundo Hispano” (5.1) and “Mi vida diaria” (5.3) topics. It mainly focuses on Mi vida diaria, so you will find a lot more resources for this sub-unit than for el mundo hispano. Some activities have instructions and links at the bottom of the slide, please check them out. It includes a number of extra resources (grammar and reading comp., among others) that I created as the textbook doesn’t offer a lot. This resource includes a 127 slide ppt presentation I prepared to teach the new Edexcel International GCSE 9-1 for my yr10 group. As the textbook isn’t great, I created many extra resources to combine with working on the textbook. What’s included: resources for Unit 1: Everyday life at home and school, which at the same time includes activities for section: 1B School Life and Routine --> 1B.1 Asi es mi dia en el insti; 1B.2 Mi dia escolar; 1B.3 En la pista de atletismo del insti; 1B.4 LLa vida escolar. It comes with two extra lists of vocabulary for students to revise, and two versions of vocabulary tests to be done at the end of every-subsection, and overall a good range of activities that train the 4 skills, and grammar. I have also attached the list of vocabulary provided by the textbook for the Unit 1 Everyday life at home and school, corresponding to sections 1A to 1D, ALREADY FILLED IN WITH THE TRANSLATIONS for students to use as revision if you dont want to spend time from the lesson/homework to get them to write them down.
